Injecting the latex finish adored by SKIMS mogul Kim Kardashian, Kate upped the ante in black opera gloves, but users seeing the photos on The Daily Mail seemed on the fence about the whole thing. While some deemed Kate “trashy,” others felt that her look reeked of desperation. At the time of the photos, the British actress was 49 years old. She starred in Prisoner’s Daughter alongside Brian Cox and Tyson Ritter.

Choosing a near-maxi number with peplum accents and a structured bustier top, Kate wowed in her bright pink look.
Showing off her toned arms and shoulders while drawing the eye to her slender waistline, the Pearl Habor star flashed hints of her legs as her skirt half turned into a fun ballgown. Going bouffant and a little ruffly down below, Kate teamed her dress with a strappy black pair of heels, rocking an open toe and flaunting a dark red pedicure.
Ensuring she made a statement, Kate added a slick pair of tight latex gloves in black, completing her look with diamond drop earrings, a coordinating manicure, plus a ponytail hairdo. Looking ageless, the actress sported a pink rosy lip to offset her matte foundation, also applying a light layer of cheek blush.
Fans Saying She’s Gotten ‘Desperate’
Not everyone hated the entire outfit, but for many, the gloves just weren’t doing Kate any favors. “Love the dress and shoes, but those gloves ruin everything,” one user said.
