Fear the Walking Dead returns this Sunday with the all new episode titled “100.” Daniel has finally returned. At the end of last week’s episode “Teotwawki,” we saw Daniel as the one giving Strand the water in jail. Where has Daniel been all this time? How did he make it out of that compound alive? Well, it appears on this week’s episode of Fear the Walking Dead, we’re going to find out.

Since the introduction of Daniel Salazar, a very dark area in his past has revealed itself. Daniel was once part of a military outfit that did horrible things. Things that Daniel grappled with throughout season two and after the loss of his wife. He then moved his family to Los Angeles in an attempt to shield his new daughter from the sins of his past. Unfortunately, the world ended but he was able to escape by linking up with Madison and company. While speculation did run rampant about whether Daniel died in season two, it was confirmed that he would in fact return…and now he has.

Infected on Fear the Walking Dead

This episode of Fear the Walking Dead will focus entirely on Daniel and the subsequent aftermath of his escape from the fiery compound. One big question will be, does he know about Ofelia? Strand obviously does but only to an extent. Perhaps Strand will use Ofelia as leverage over Daniel to escape his prison? Another question is, is Daniel cured of his corrupt mental state that we saw in season two? Be sure to tune in this Sunday on AMC for the all new Fear the Walking Dead to find out.

What do you think of season three so far? Could Daniel end up on the side opposing Madison and Jeremiah at the ranch? Be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments below and check back this Sunday for our full review of episode “100.”
