The prices of the upcoming 30th Anniversary Collection of PlayStation 5 consoles and the DualSense controller have been reported by an insider, and they’re shockingly affordable. Billbil-kun has a very long track record of publishing reliable leaks when it comes to PlayStation and has confirmed the price of the Digital Edition of the 30th Anniversary PS1-themed PS5, along with the DualSense controller.

According to the source, the gray Digital Edition PS5 will be sold for $499.99, which is only $50 above the standard Digital PlayStation 5. The small bump in price will get you a PlayStation 5 that evokes the memories of old, from the time of the original PlayStation and its timeless color scheme. The DualSense that comes with the console is also PS1-themed, but if you want the disc edition, you can buy the disc drive and the gray cover separately. It also comes with a vertical stand, a poster, a PlayStation 1-style cable connector housing, four PlayStation-shaped cable ties, a sticker, and a paper clip.

If you, like most others, already have a PlayStation 5 but are interested in the controller alone, you’re in luck, because according to the leaker, it will be available separately for $79.99. This price is the same as the Astro Bot-themed controller that came out recently. The PlayStation Portal will also be available in the PS1 theme.

The 30th Anniversary edition PS5 Pro is also coming out sometime in the future, but the price for that hasn’t been confirmed yet. But since the console itself is $700, the themed version will likely go for $1000 or more. Not just because it is more powerful, but also because it is a limited run and only 12,300 units will be produced. It will have the same color scheme and all the goodies that the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition will come with, but instead of the traditional DualSense, it will come with an Edge controller and a controller Charging Station.

Pre-orders for all the 30th Anniversary Collection devices will go live on September 21, and they will become available on November 21, 2024.
