Beyonce and Jay-Z are at it again, proving to the world why they are indeed a power couple. With Diddy‘s arrest charges rocking the music industry, fans pointed accusing fingers in every direction, and the Carters weren’t excluded. The Crazy In Love collaborators are never ones to address speculations. However, when Piers Morgan platformed a woman to further spread the rumors on live television, the couple responded with brute force. Now, the controversial British journalist is eating his words.
During Tuesday’s broadcast of the Piers Morgan Uncensored Show, Morgan did the unimaginable and issued a public apology. “The thing about platforms, the reality of the modern world is that pretty much everyone has a platform as long as they have something to say that other people want to hear,” he said while looking somber. He explained why he invited singer Jaguar Wright on his show, saying she had a platform with or without him. However, while on his show, she made “several serious allegations” about the Carters that resulted in legal action.
“As I said in the moment, they were not present to respond or defend themselves, but now they have. We had lawyers contact us to say that those claims were totally false and have no basis in fact, and we’ve therefore complied with a legal request to cut them from the original interview.”
Morgan continued, explaining that “editing” an interview isn’t something that happens on his uncensored show. However, some “legal limits” made that happen. “We apologize to Jay-Z and Beyoncé,” he concluded his statement.
Jay-Z & Beyonce Called A ‘Nasty Couple’ On Piers Morgan Show
Following Piers Morgan’s aired apology, X erupted with comments from fans. Many were in awe of how Jay-Z and Beyonce silenced the difficult presenter. “The way they control the world,” one fan theorized. “Like imagine getting Piers Morgan to apologize!!! You don’t have to if you’re Beyonce!!!” A second fan wrote, “They put him on notice and in check. Good for them – he’s terrible.” A third comment read:
“It’s time to put Piers Morgan in his place. Can’t believe he thought he could get away with this.”
While on the show, Wright said, “For four years, I’ve been screaming not just Diddy, but Diddy and JAY-Z are monsters, and the victim-making machine kept going on.” She brought Queen B into the mix, accusing her of allegedly joining her husband to abuse people. “They’re a nasty little couple. They do nasty things. Keeping people against their will,” she claimed.
