Things are not looking good for Sean “Diddy” Combs after he revealed his hopeful “last words.” The A-List musician, known for popular songs with Danity Kane and his own hits, has been in the middle of a legal battle for months. In case you forgot, Combs was sued by his ex-girlfriend, Cassie, in November 2023. Then, the “Me & U” singer explained that she was in an abusive relationship with Diddy for 10 years. Following that, more shocking and disturbing news about Combs continued coming to light.
Homeland Security raided his home in March 2024. Additionally, one of his former artists sued him, accusing him of sexual assault. And in September 2024, the disgraced performer was arrested at the Park Hyatt Hotel in New York City. He was charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution.
Since the initial lawsuit that was filed by Cassie, Diddy’s supporters, including his family, have stood beside him, claiming his innocence. However, in a newly resurfaced video, he shared what he’d want his “last words” to be before dying, and his answer has alarmed quite a few people.
Diddy Wants Final Words To Be ‘I Did It’
In a resurfaced video, Diddy revealed what he’d like for his “last words” to be. He was filming an episode of the VH1 show Martha [Stewart] & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party. The revelation came during a cheeky game in which he had to fill in the missing part of a sentence on a card given to him. Diddy’s read: “When I die, I want my last words to be …”
“I did it.”
After his comment, Diddy looked to the audience as if he had said something profound, sat back in his chair, and raised his arms. The other celebrity guests, including Usher and Lala Anthony, didn’t seem as amused. In fact, one user wrote on Instagram, “Usher looked so uncomfortable.” Another person commented about Stewart’s reaction, noting she was unmoved by Diddy’s statement. “Martha ain’t think a damn thing was funny.”
Other users also chimed in, saying people were taking Diddy’s comments out of context to cause drama.
“Y’all know what he means,” someone wrote. “He meant he did everything he said he was gonna do [to be] successful. … Not [that] he committed those crimes.” A fourth fan seemingly agreed, writing Diddy was referring to “living the ‘American Dream.’“
Since Diddy’s arrest, several other victims have alleged the rapper assaulted them. His legal team has proclaimed his innocence, saying the allegations are baseless and without merit. His trial is currently set for May 5, 2024, in New York. However, at this rate, there could be more news about him at any minute.
