Kylie Jenner and her sisters often disagree on many things, especially when it comes to parenting their children. The youngest KarJenner sister claims they each have their own rules. But Kylie says she has one rule in place for her children that she refuses to budge on.
Things are not too difficult for the 27-year-old mom of two, at least not yet. However, Kylie admits there will likely come a day when she will be forced to lay down the law with daughter Stormi Webster and son Aire Webster.
Kylie Jenner claims she will not allow her children to be on social media. As crazy as that may sound to Kardashian/Jenner family fans, Kylie says she doesn’t plan to budge on this subject.
Granted, Stormi is only six at this time, and Aire is just two, so there has not been much of a need to debate the matter. However, Kylie Jenner admits that she knows the day will soon arrive.
During an interview with Elle, Kylie claims she has managed to keep her children away from social media and plans to keep it that way. If she has her way, the busy mom doesn’t want them to have their own accounts until they move out of her house.
Kylie Jenner May Have A Fight On Her Hands
This is one significant way that Kylie Jenner’s parenting styles differ from those of her older sisters. Kourtney Kardashian’s teenage son, Mason Disick, has his account. Kim Kardashian allows her daughter, North West, 11, to have a TikTok page that she allegedly shares with her mom.
Kim’s son, Saint, 8, also has a YouTube channel. A few times, North has seemingly disobeyed Kim’s rules and signed on to the social media platform without her mom’s permission.
Khloe Kardashian’s two children, True Thompson, 6, and Tatum Thompson, 2, also have Instagram accounts. Of course, for now, Khloe doesn’t permit True to use the account herself. However, considering that the Kardashians and Jenners practically live on social media, they will have a real fight on their hands trying to keep the kids off as they get older.
“Can’t see this lasting. The family makes way too much money off of their social media accounts. There is no way she will forbid her kids from profiting from it”, writes one fan.
Kylie is very protective of her children and says, “When I do share my children, I want it to come from me or their father,” Jenner explains. “It’s no socials for as long as possible.”
The billionaire make-up mogul says she finds it exhausting and challenging to keep up with the internet now.
After giving birth to two beautiful children, Jenner shared she believes in keeping her personal life private. She wants to protect her children as long as possible from the evil side of social media. So if that means being the unpopular and mean mom one day, Kylie Jenner is ready for it. Seeing how this social media ban plays out a few years later should be interesting.
