Leisurely car rides and red-eyed ghouls are a match made in the underworld. A Dusty Trip is joining Roblox‘s Haunt event and bringing some holiday flair of its own. In addition to the creepy cars and other themed accessories, the game is also treating players to a new map: The Hallow. As a time-limited event, your window to get in on the frightful festivities is brief. Fortunately, we’ve got all the info you need to make sure it’s a treat instead of a trick. Here’s what you need to know about The Haunt and Halloween event in A Dusty Trip.
A Dusty Trip Halloween Event Guide
A Dusty Trip is all about hitting the open road. That’s a more dangerous but profitable proposition this Halloween. The game is getting in on the All Hallows’ spirit with more than just a pumpkin-colored jeep or two. The Halloween update introduces candies you can collect by Trick-or-Treating or defeating mutants and bosses. Candies earn you spins for exclusive Halloween-themed items. Here’s what you need to do to cash in:
- Play The Hallow map
- Repair and refuel your vehicle
- Grab a weapon and go for a drive
- Collect candies but be mindful of the ghosts and ghoulies outside
- Check your candy count in the top-right corner to see your progress
- Go to the Spooky Spins wheel to spend your candies on a chance to win prizes
Don’t let the eerie sounds and red eyes glowing at you from the dark keep you from your holiday drive. All you need is a full can of gas and some determination. Maybe also grab one of the assault rifles lying around in the garage before you leave. It’ll make fending off the creatures on the road much easier. You can then find the Spooky Spins wheel in the hub when you return.
The Haunt Photo Comp
When you aren’t cruising around in the new Inferno Fury or chucking a Zombie Grenade or two, you can play shutterbug. A Dusty Trial is participating in The Haunt, Roblox‘s sprawling Halloween event. Here’s how you can join in the fun:
- Click The Haunt icon (the camera with bat wings) on the right side of the screen
- If you like the picture, click Submit
- Select the category where your picture fits best (Villains, Cute, Orange, Scary, Creepy)
- Confirm you’re choosing this picture as your submission
- Click submit
You can only submit one picture per day, so pick carefully. The competition plays it fast and loose with categories, however, letting you submit your picture anywhere. That said, it will do better if it fits the category, so try to stick with the theme. If you need spooky inspiration, you can always take a drive into The Hallow’s grim forest. There’s more than ravens in those trees.
