Aggressive Philadelphia Karen Hits Cyclist in Bike Lane, Threatens Witnesses, and Harasses Cyclist: ‘They Seem Like Lovely People’

Another Karen has been spotted out in the wild, and this time the incident occurred in Philadelphia, USA. Specifically, a cyclist was riding their bike in the bike lane and was hit by the Karen in question who was driving a silver SUV. While the footage shared to Reddit recently doesn’t show the accident, it reveals the aftermath of the event. Essentially, the Karen pulls her car over and gets very aggressive, threatening the cyclist as well as the witnesses nearby.

The 38-second snippet of footage kicks off in a car park, with the cyclist, saying: “You f***ing hit me with your car in the bike lane!” as he wheels his bike out of frame. What the Karen shouts is hard to discern, however, but it sounds like she’s saying “Fagg**, you’re a f***ing fagg**!” to the cyclist, in a derogatory demeanour.

Next, the Karen starts to make her way back to her SUV, and the woman recording the incident asks the cyclist, “you all right?” Meanwhile, the angry Karen notices the woman recording on her phone and turns her attention to her, yelling: “Put your f***ing phone down before you get it too! What the f*** is wrong with you. You can get it too!” Suddenly, the irate Karen makes a beeline for the camera lady as she continues shouting threats.

With no warning, the Karen then slams the camera lady’s vehicle door closed, while flinging threatening remarks. She then begins to return to her SUV. The video ends with the cyclist and the Karen hurling profanities at one another. “I’m afraid to go.” declares the cyclist right at the end of the clip.

While the video was posted earlier today, there are currently 261 comments at the time of writing, and it’s fair to say that the vast majority of Reddit users are not very pleased with Karen’s hostile behaviour.

Responding to this comment, another netizen added: “Be the healthiest thing she ever did for herself“. Elsewhere, another Redditor chimed in and summed up the incident succinctly, examining the verbiage the Karen used while having her meltdown:

Unfortunately, it’s unclear whether any police were called to the incident, though I’d like to believe that the cyclist filed some form of report against the Karen. Thankfully, however, the internet is always here to call out aggressive Karens who are being threatening and disturbing the peace.
