Kate Middleton makes an epic comeback to royal duties, taking on activities dear to her heart including a lineup of overseas trips, while honoring her gym routine post-cancer. The Princess of Wales has gradually returned to her life as a working senior royal in the wake of her cancer treatment. Back in June, Kate attended the Trooping the Color, following up with her appearance in Wimbledon barely a month later. Since announcing the completion of her chemotherapy treatment, Kate’s public appearances have become even more frequent, honoring a handful of engagements alongside her husband Prince William.
Royal biographer Robert Jobson believes the Princess is doing even more behind the scenes, in preparation for a busier 2025. Speaking to Hello! Kate Middleton’s biographer noted that the royal mom was most likely hitting the gym again, and keeping up with other things she enjoyed besides her workout routines. The author divulged,
“From what I understand, Catherine is doing very well. She is back in training at the gym and doing all the things she wanted to do. I do think we will start to see a lot more of her, and that she will carry out engagements as well as continue to work behind the scenes.”
Prince William Eager For Kate’s Big Comeback After Cancer Battle
Going further, Robert explained that while Kate Middleton was glad to make a comeback, she would rather do so in stages, taking a “less is more” approach. That approach could involve slowing down on her overseas schedules, and turning her focus to more impactful events.” The author explained,
“If she has her way, she will come back in stages and do things that are important to her, because she doesn’t want to get ill again but also, I’m told, because she has a different perspective now.”
According to Robert, her new perspective on life prioritizes family over all else. Regardless, Kate Middleton would strive to take on key events, while keeping up with her gym training and other health requirements in the wake of her cancer battle. The Catherine, the Princess of Wales author also discussed Prince Williams’ thoughts on his wife’s approach, noting that he was indeed keen on seeing her stage a comeback.
Kate Middleton Gearing Up For Overseas Visits
That in no way meant Kate would make a full return to her royal duties all at once. When she does return, the princess would most likely prioritize her overseas trip to Italy, initially postponed on the heels of her cancer diagnosis. Robert Jobson divulged,
“They will start traveling again and I expect them to do at least one tour next year. I would expect a trip to Canada or somewhere at some stage, and Italy is the sort of trip they could do in two or three days.”
Notably, Kate Middleton’s father-in-law, King Charles, recently embarked on overseas visits to Australia and Samoa amid his own cancer battle. Palace insiders reported that the trips abroad in fact left the king rejuvenated despite having to suspend his cancer treatment for a week to honor those overseas engagements. The impact of this tour reportedly prompted the palace to include more overseas activities in the Monarch’s 2025 schedule. Robert believes this approach may also prove helpful to Kate, especially after hearing firsthand accounts of the spirit-lifting experience from King Charles.
Of course, the 42-year-old would most likely make her own choices, and “do things her own way.” Regardless of the approach that the Princess chooses to navigate her post-cancer schedule, she remains committed to her health and family, two aspects of her life she now realizes matter most to her. What better way for Kate Middleton to keep her health in check than resuming her gym training?
