There’s no shortage of people out there who genuinely believe that they’re more important than everyone else. In fact, we write about this every day here. Now, what happens when two entitled people who value their self-importance above all else go against each other in public? Well, it makes for a hilarious screaming match that then gets reposted on Reddit.
The video is taken from the point of view of a cyclist using the sidewalk to ride their bike. The cyclist ahead of them can be seen weaving around a woman who is attempting to block the path so that they can’t drive through. When the second cyclist passes the woman, the latter decides to physically assault her. It’s a good thing that the cyclist was wearing a camera.
Seconds later, the cyclist ahead of the one recording, who turns out to be her boyfriend, bikes up to the entitled woman, who has her arms outstretched and confronts her. Realistically, the woman had no right to do what she did, especially since there isn’t a bike lane on the road, implying that cyclists need to use the sidewalk.
The bicyclist and the woman go at it for a while, and it becomes clear that the woman has met her match. The two of them were trying to out-entitle one another. The replies quickly filled with commenters ridiculing both the cyclist and the woman for their actions. Neither of the two did anything that makes themselves look good on camera.
“Even the dog is embarrassed”
Sure enough, if you pause the video at the perfect time, you can see the dog that’s sitting in the cyclist’s bag look directly into the camera as though embarrassed. Others thought it was hilarious of the girlfriend to repost this video at all considering the fact that it makes her boyfriend look mad.
“Why would the girlfriend even post this online and make her boyfriend look like an idiot?”
By the end of the video, it looks like it really was just a screaming match with no real resolution. Hopefully, no one was seriously injured and the cyclists never encounter someone like that again.
