How To Complete A Sign of Hope Quest in Stalker 2
After you accept the A Sign of Hope side quest in Stalker 2, you must head outside and climb on the base’s roof. Your goal is to reach the metal staircase on the side of the building. As you can see, the path up is destroyed, but there is another route you can take to reach the antenna.
- Enter the door at the end of the staircase.
- Turn left and climb up the wooden plank.
- Climb up another staircase to reach another room.
- Drop down to the pipe and carefully follow the path.
- Pass through another door to exit.
Should You Kill the Zombie?
This path will take you outside, and you will now stand on the upper half of the broken metal staircase. Keep heading up until you reach the roof. As you walk, a Noontider named Khors will contact you in the A Sign of Hope side quest. The man asks you not to kill the zombified soldier and leave them alone.
If you decide to kill Kvashka, Khors will become hostile, and you may have to fight them both. If you ignore the zombie, you can immediately turn off the antenna. Although it’s not the wisest decision, following Khor’s request is the better choice.
The professor will still give you the full reward, including the Bear Artifact Detector, at the end of the A Sign of Hope side quest. Not only that, but Khors will also send you some extra Coupons for sparing his friend. The amount will depend on your difficulty settings.
