Ben Affleck might be a single man, but he’s caught in the middle of his two exes this holiday season. Sources are claiming that both Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner want the actor by their side to celebrate. Affleck has allegedly promised both women that he would split time between them for the holidays. However, he’s said to have left JLo out in the cold after opting to spend more time with his ex-wife, Garner, instead.
A new report from Heat World reveals that Jennifer Lopez is unhappy about not sharing the holidays with Ben Affleck. Although JLo filed for divorce from the Batman star back in August, she had reportedly hoped that they would celebrate the holidays together with their children, who had become a close blended step-family during their marriage. However, Affleck ditched Lopez on Thanksgiving to spend the day with Jennifer Garner and their three children, Violet, Fin, and Samuel.
Sources claim that Lopez was embarrassed that Affleck stood her up for Thanksgiving after she had told her holiday guests that he’d be joining them for dinner. Sadly, this competition between Lopez and Garner isn’t anything new.

“Jen had every reason to believe she and Ben were going to be spending a lot of time together over the holidays, because he promised that he’d spilt his time 50/50 between her and Jennifer Garner,” the source dished. “But then when he flaked on their plans and had dinner at Jennifer’s instead, it was humiliating for Jen because she’d told everyone that Ben would be there for her dinner.”
An insider dished that JLo often felt threatened by Garner during her marriage to Affleck. The co-parents often spent a lot of time together, even while he was with Lopez. Ben was said to run to his first wife for advice and support which drove JLo crazy at the time.

Since his split with Lopez, Affleck has been seen spending plenty of time with Garner. They’ve attended events at their kids’ school, been photographed in cars together, and more. The duo look like close friends and appear to be a support system for one another. All the while, Ben and JLo were spotted having brunch together with their blended family once since filing for divorce.
It remains to be seen how Ben Affleck will spend Christmas Day. However, it’s likely that he’ll be wherever his children are. If the trio of Affleck children want to spend time with Jennifer Lopez’s twins, Max and Emme, there’s a chance that the estranged spouses could get some face time for the holiday. However, it’s much more likely that Ben will be alongside Jennifer Garner as they share the special day with their own children.
It appears that Ben Affleck is stuck in a bit of an uncomfortable situation with Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner. However, he’ll always be connected to his first wife through their children, despite JLo’s best efforts.
