Turns out you need to give gifts if you want someone to like you. The same idea holds true for Warframe and its Warframe 1999 expansion. Warframe 1999‘s romance minigame takes place mostly in chatboxes, but if you want to take that romance offline, you need to say the right words and give the right gifts. Hence, here’s a Hex member gift guide and how to increase your chemistry with them.
Ideal Gifts for Each Hex Member in Warframe
To give gifts in Warframe 1999, simply chat with the Hex member first, exhaust the dialog, and then click on their profile afterward. You’ll see a gift icon on the right of their profile image and you can select this to open the gift options.
There’s a lot, by the way, so refer to these tables to ensure that you give each member the right gift or the gift that they’ll appreciate.

Gifting is typically limited to once per day and the reset time for the daily Hex gifts in Warframe is set to around 00:00 UTC in your current timezone at the moment. Previously, a bug set the reset to midnight depending on the player’s timezone but that has been addressed in a hotfix.
Increasing Chemistry with Hex Members
Apart from gift-giving, you also need to pick the ideal dialog for each Hex member. As a general rule of thumb, you don’t want to end the conversation prematurely. Dialog choices change depending on how much the relationship with each Hex member has progressed. Bounties on the calendar can also boost chemistry.
In addition to gifts, chemistry, and the right dialog, you can also wait for a Hex member’s birthday (as shown in their profile) and gift them a special message once their birthday takes place. You can keep track of the dates in the Pom-2 PC calendar. Giving a Hex member a special message will boost chemistry.
These are the chemistry levels you need to track:
- Neutral
- Friendly
- Liked
- Trusted
- Close
- Best Friends / Loved
The last part depends entirely on whether you’re in a committed relationship with a specific Hex member already or not. If some of them find out that you’re already committed to another Hex member, you might get friend-zoned. So don’t be greedy.
Raising the chemistry high enough will open up an option for a meet-up in Hollvania Central Mall, for a potential date. Once you’ve raised the chemistry to Loved, you can then spend the in-game 1999 New Year’s Eve with that Hex member for a special scene and some romantic gestures.
