Mariah Carey and Rihanna shared the funniest exchange recently. While the “Obsessed” singer was performing in New York City this week, Rihanna took the opportunity to ask Carey for a unique concert momento: An autograph on her chest. Being the icon that she is, Carey signed Rihanna’s breast without question. Fans can’t help but go wild over the interaction.
Mariah Carey and Rihanna Cause A Frenzy at the Barclays Center
On Tuesday, Dec. 17, Mariah Carey and Rihanna met at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The 55-year-old popstar was performing at the venue as part of the final stop on her 2024 Christmas Time tour. Rihanna attended the show with her long-time boyfriend, A$AP Rocky. After catching the pair vibing along to her concert the whole night, Carey surprised fans by leaving the stage to go greet the couple. As if that wasn’t exciting enough, she shocked the audience by signing Rihanna’s breast.
In a viral clip from the concert, Rihanna is seen pulling her coat back to give Carey room to write. The “We Belong Together” star could be heard asking Rihanna what she would like signed. “Mariah, the f*ck you think?” she joked, before adding, “Whatever you want.”
While Mariah Carey was signing Rihanna’s breast, the “Diamonds” singer gushed over the exchange to nearby cameras. “Wow, this is iconic,” she said. Rihanna then grabbed Carey’s microphone to explain what was going on to the rest of the crowd inside the venue. “Mariah Carey is signing my t*t, y’all,” she announced. “This sh*t is f*cking epic!”
The audience responded with loud cheers. After Carey finished, Rihanna excitedly showed off her signed breast to the cameras. “Look at that sh*t!” she yelled out, before she and Carey embraced, which only made the crowd scream even louder.
Fans online were equally as amused by Mariah Carey and Rihanna’s exchange. “This is so random, but so iconic,” one person said. “All she wants for Christmas is a signed boob,” another joked about Rihanna’s unusual request. One fan even suggested that Rihanna should get Mariah Carey’s autograph permanently inked on her chest. “I’d get that tattooed asap,” they commented.
Goodbye to the 2024 Christmas Time Tour
Carey’s final concert on her 2024 Christmas Time tour was definitely a night to remember. Thankfully, the show went on without any difficulties. Earlier this month, Carey was forced to cancel three of her concerts due to being sick with the flu. After taking some time to rest, she was luckily able to return to the stage just in time to close out her tour.
Here’s hoping she brings back her Christmas concerts next year!
