Everyone knows you need to be super cautious on the streets regardless of whether you drive a car or are a pedestrian. There are just too many crazy drivers out there; some are negligent, and many more are just plain dumb. Well, here’s one guy who decided to take matters into his own hands: a video found over on Reddit shows an entitled driver who ended up beaten by a crossing guard who was annoyed they were ignoring his signal and the rules of the road.
The chaos in this video started because one entitled driver decided it was a good idea to ignore the crossing guard’s stop sign. So this guard from Reddit, sick of these reckless drivers putting everyone in danger, decided to use his sign to beat the entitled driver and his car to see if it would stop him from ignoring the safety rules. Unfortunately, this is a sadly prevalent situation, and more than one user shares their experiences as:

The level of irresponsibility, negligence, and insanity of these crazy people behind the wheel is unpredictable. They don’t even care that there are people in the middle of the road, usually children from the same school as their children.
If she’s looking for a job she can work at my kids school , these parents need to be humbled.

It is also very upsetting to know that they do not respect any age group, such as children or older adults.
The elderly lady who crosses the kids near my house has almost been hit more times than I can count. People will try to enter the intersection when she’s still in it, when kids are still crossing, even when there’s glare in their eyes and they can’t fucking see. 90% of the time it isn’t the parents, it’s the same chuds who whiz past the school buses when their stop signs are out.

Clearly, many users believe that students and crossing guards need better safety measures to counteract the dangers of these irresponsible drivers. However, it should not be forgotten that precisely these drivers should make better choices; perhaps a fine would do them a lot of good to think about their behavior. At the very least, let’s hope the driver in this video makes smarter decisions after what he experienced.
