Although Chapter 2: Tunnel’s beginner mode isn’t as elaborate as normal mode, it still has many of the same puzzle beats in Roblox Terminal. You’ll still have to cut a series of wires, find pipe pieces, enter a maze, and even solve the TV room. It’s definitely a step up from Chapter 1: Dead End’s beginner mode, but ultimately easier overall. If you’re still having difficulty, then I’ll give you a helping hand!
How to Complete Keypad Puzzle in Terminal Chapter 2: Tunnel
The very first puzzle has several moving parts. Before you can even get to the keypad, you need to restore power to the door. To do that, here’s what you’ll need to do:
- Locate the scissors and screwdriver near the door to the next room.
- Cut and rewire the train’s electric box.
- Find out the 4-digit code for the door.
Using the screwdriver, take unscrew the plate to the electrical box outside the train, then cut each wire.
The wires have to be reattached in a very specific order, based on their color, which you can see on the other side of the train.
- Brown
- Pink
- Yellow
- Orange
- Red
- Blue
- Purple
- Black
- White
- Green
Now that the keypad is powered, you can put in the code. On the billboards, you’ll see a letter followed by a number. Spell out C-O-D-E and write down what number is linked to each number, and you’ll get 1379.
How to Complete Office Puzzle in Terminal Chapter 2: Tunnel
The office features four puzzles in one: the pipe puzzle, the painting puzzle, the plant puzzle, and the ceiling puzzle. See the keypads next to the manhole? That’s your goal.
Pipe Puzzle Solution
First, you need four pipes pieces, located around the office. Those get slotted into the puzzle before you can make adjustments:
- One pipe is on the desk
- Another on the coffee maker
- One on the bookshelf
- And the last is on the floor, on the carpet
When you pick the pipe pieces, they’re added to the walls automatically. Interact with the pipes on the wall and turn the pieces until each color is connected to its own, end to end. You’ll get the code 6914 on the wall.
Painting Puzzle Solution
The painting puzzle is four riddles, each of which is answered with a painting on the wall. When you figure out the answer, you get the number:
- Digit 1: Turtle
- Digit 2: Train
- Digit 3: Coin
- Digit 4: Pumpkins
Knowing that you’ll get the code 3284. Punch it into the next keypad and onto the puzzle.
Plant Puzzle Solution
This one is an easy puzzle to complete. There are four plants placed around the office, each of which has a number. Most of them are on the side with the bookcase, while the last one is by the coffee maker.
The numbers you get, place them in order from smallest to largest and you have your next 4-digit code, which is 2689.
Ceiling Puzzle Solution
The ceiling puzzle is also another easy one. All the note says is to look up. When you do, you’ll see four tiles are lit up, each of which has a number. How do you read it? There’s a fifth title near the entrance to the office. It says to read from top to bottom.
With your back to the doorway, do exactly that (I’ve numbered them in my screenshot for assistance). You’ll get the code 7831. Punch in the code and jump down into the maze below, where you’ll need to find four buttons, press them, and then find the exit.
How to Complete TV Room Puzzle in Terminal Chapter 2: Tunnel
Inside the TV Room, you’ll see a series of TVs blinking various colors and a remote locked behind a case. More importantly, some monitors refer to four digits, each linked to a fruit. That’s odd, but the trick is the number of letters for each fruit is the code.
- Apple: 5
- Pear: 4
- Pineapple: 9
- Banana: 6
Use that code on the safe for the remote, then pause the screen by the door to the next room. Cross-reference the colors on the screen to find the next set of digits. It will be different for you since it depends on which channel you stop on when you’ve used the remote.
In the next room, you’ll find two keypads. The first one closest to the TV Room has a series of shapes underneath. That’s the code, but you need the cipher decoder. Place around the room, on the floors and walls; you’ll find the number each shape represents. In this case, it’s 4931.
The next code is based on a cipher found on posters on the wall. You’ll need to move the curtains around to find them. Note that there are only four pages to find despite there being five spaces on the wall. The wall reads: 8246. Use it for the elevator, and away you go!
