There’s something about minor driving infractions that really brings out the Karens in droves. From drunks on Christmas eve to fraudsters to racists, we’ve had a spate of overly demanding and bigoted middle-aged women with nothing better to do than to yell at the general public over trivial matters. In fact, a viral clip depicting a woman screaming at a delivery driver for driving up a driveway he’s not meant to be driving up is snowballing across social media right now, and was shared to Reddit recently.
The video footage is captured from the perspective of a delivery driver and opens with the Karen stood in front of the driver’s vehicle screaming at the top of her lungs. The Karen, who is sporting a blue and purple dyed t-shirt, has both hands on the bonnet of the vehicle. “HELP!” the Karen yells extremely loudly. It’s hard to discern what the Karen is saying through the windshield, but it sounds like she’s stating that the driver should be driving at “walking speed.”
Moments later, a young girl comes running from one of the houses nearby who attempts to calm the situation down. As the Karen attempts to catch her breath, she continues her incomprehensible tirade before the 49-second video cuts.
Adding some additional context to the incident is a slightly longer follow-up video. Accompanying this footage is the description: “Woman freaks out seeing black delivery driver in her neighbourhood.” In it, we find out that the driver wasn’t sure whether he could drive up the alley or not. Specifically, the driver says:
I was skeptical about this driveway. I was like, can I drive down this? I come to realise I can’t and she spotted that. Instantly, she came out and came at me. And I’m like ‘Whoa’. You could calm down your tone when speaking to me first of all. So, it was like all this barking.
Delivery Driver
Oh, like, speeding? Okay, this conversation is done ’cause now you’re just spitting out lies. Like, just tell me I’m not supposed to drive on this driveway. Don’t just start lying and yelling at me. And if anybody got a ring camera when you turn into here, they could see that I wasn’t speeding.

As the viral clip continues to make the rounds across the internet, netizens weighed in with their thoughts and reactions to the footage. One Redditor declared, “Idk what is funnier, the lady screaming or the lil girl running like a running back.“
Another user, meanwhile, added: “That lady screams better than a T Rex“.
Elsewhere, a further commenter chimed in with, “The sound was off and I could still hear her“.
It’s a little unclear whether the delivery driver was at fault, as one neighbour does imply that it’s okay to drive down the driveway at “walking speed“, which does suggest that it’s deemed acceptable for vehicle access. On the other hand, the Karen does accuse the delivery driver of “speeding“, which the driver staunchly denies. While two wrongs don’t make a right, the days of making a simple driving infraction without getting blasted by a Karen are seemingly long gone.
