There aren’t a ton of places where it’s appropriate to instigate fights with other people. Actually, scratch that; if you aren’t a professional fighter of some sort, there really isn’t any place where it’s appropriate to instigate a fight. Unfortunately, as I continue my beat writing Human Interest stories, it feels as though my expectations of how people should act in public hardly ever match reality. Fortunately, plenty of people (or passengers in this case) are willing to document and then repost these weird, public outbreaks.
The video is taken from the point of view of a random passenger aboard an aircraft. In it, you can see a stewardess, also wearing a holiday hat, yell at a few other passengers aboard the plane. The stewardess finds this to be the most appropriate moment to be as animated as possible while talking. According to how other passengers have their phones out and are recording, the situation must have been amusing to witness firsthand. After the stewardess finishes yelling at the passengers, the woman next to the person recording continuously tells the former that the people she had been screaming at had threatened her.
At the end of the video, the stewardess turns around to someone at the front of the plane and gestures to call the police. Considering the severity of calling the police when you’re inside an aircraft, whatever happened must have been very serious. Many viewers couldn’t get past the stewardess’s gestures when scrolling into the comments.
“I love her gestures. She should be holding a cutlass.”
Realistically, I can see just how frustrated she was while yelling at the other passengers. It’s already stressful enough to perform a job that takes you thousands of miles into the air, but having to do so while there are also rude customers aboard? That’s not easy, right?
