Xbox exclusives are completely dead now and this will extend to Nintendo’s next console as well. Xbox CEO Phil Spencer talked positively about the Nintendo Switch 2 and confirmed that Xbox games will be ported onto the unreleased console whenever it comes out.

After a long and arduous wait, Nintendo finally revealed the Switch 2 this month, and even though not a single game has been announced for the upcoming console, Xbox is already preparing multiple games for release on the console. This includes Diablo 4, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and Microsoft Flight Simulator.

This should also include the Call of Duty series since, during the Activision acquisition, Microsoft promised to release all major Activision titles on all platforms, including Nintendo’s, for the next 10 years.

Phil Spencer confirmed during an interview with Gamertag Radio that he had exchanged emails with Nintendo’s president after the reveal of the new handheld console, and he already confirmed that Xbox would support the new platform on and after release.

He added that his old eyes will appreciate the bigger screen on the Switch 2.

I gave him a big congrats and said my old eyes appreciate the larger screen.

This shouldn’t shock anyone after Xbox decided that all of its major releases will be multiplatform. This includes PlayStation, PC, and even TVs with Game Pass cloud streaming. These games include Pentiment, Hi-Fi Rush, Sea of Thieves, and Grounded.

In recent news, Xbox held a Direct event that revealed more information about Doom: The Dark Ages and had massive surprise releases for Ninja Gaiden fans. This includes Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, which is a remake of the second entry in the age-old franchise that was long thought to be dead.

What came as a bigger surprise was the sequel, Ninja Gaiden 4, which will star a new protagonist alongside Ryu Hayabusa and will be developed by Platinum Games, for anyone who is a fan of either Ninja Gaiden or Metal Gear Rising, this should come as great news.
