Are you going to link accounts?

After PlayStation decided to publish their games on PC, a few caveats prevented some players from buying in. One of these conditions is creating and connecting to a PlayStation Network account. When Helldivers 2 launched on PC, it was announced that players would need to link their PSN accounts, and the community answered, albeit angrily. In response to the community’s cries, the connection requirement was removed. Unfortunately, just because players won with one game doesn’t mean that PlayStation will stop trying to get them to link their accounts. This time, the company decided to create incentives in the form of additional content for those who connect to their PSN profile.

Beginning with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, players will get free in-game content if they connect their PlayStation account to their Steam of Epic Games copy. Four games will be a part of this incentive, with the content you can get being as follows:

The Last of Us Part 2 RemasteredAn additional 50 points to activate bonus features and unlock extras as well as Jordan’s Jacket from Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet as a skin for Ellie.
Horizon Zero Dawn RemasteredNora Valiant outfit.
God of War RagnarokGain access to the Armor of the Black Bear set for Kratos at the first Lost Items chest in the Realm Between Realms (previously only accessible in a New Game+ run) and a resource bundle (500 Hacksilver and 250 XP).

The other three games will have their additional content added to the game beginning on April 3, 2025. In the meantime, players will be able to enjoy the Spider-Man 2099 Black Suit and Miles Morales’ 2099 Suit. While these are the only games to be listed for additional content right now, more games will likely follow suit, enticing even more players to link their PSN accounts to wherever they play their PC games.
