Dress to Impress on Roblox has a new in-game event going on in honor of the most romantic holiday of the year: Valentine’s Day. The event is similar to December’s Winter Showcase, giving players the chance to play through new minigame levels to earn rewards. This time, the event revolves around the famed DTI character Lana and her quest to find love no matter the consequences. Fortunately, Cupid is ready and willing to put his opinions where they don’t belong to bring you into the picture to complicate things further. So, let’s review how to complete both chapters in Dress to Impress’s Valentine’s Quest!

Completing Valentine’s Quest Chapter 1

In the game’s main lobby, head over to the newly available Valentine’s Quest portal and load in. You’ll immediately be met with a swan boat ride scene that allows players to experience either Chapter 1 or Chapter 2 of the new quest. To start, jump into a wan boat on the Chapter 1 side to start.

Brewing Love Potions

After speaking with Cupid, you’ll be tasked with completing two minigames. First is brewing love potions with Leah Ashe in what appears to be a massive library. To complete this minigame, you need to create three different potions by memorizing the ingredients and putting them into the cauldron. Each potion consists of two base potions, which are revealed at the beginning of each crafting session. You’ll need to shake the first bottle three times, sprinkle the second bottle three times, and then mix it all together three times. When you finish a potion, take it to the cauldron next to Leah Ashe and deposit it. When all three potions are finished, you’ll be able to leave and enjoy the next minigame.

Bow and Arrow Practice

The second minigame will start immediately, and ask you to hit floating hearts with your Cupid’s bow. It might seem like a good idea to do this in first-person, but trust me when I say to pull back and use third-person. It makes aiming at each of the floating hearts and filling the meter a lot easier. After you’ve filled the meter, you’ll be teleported to the courtyard just below the floating hearts.

Here, you’ll need to shoot one last arrow at a golden heart lock in order to open the portal to the next area: Valentine’s Hell.

Valentine’s Hell

This area looks exactly as it sounds: like a hellish firescape that’s themed with pink and hearts. Here, you’ll need to follow the four pathways to find four chests. To open the chests, you need to resolve a short puzzle. Where to find each chest and how to solve each puzzle is featured below.

Chest 1

The first chest I found is located on the pathway on the furthest right, in an area that resembles a cemetery. It is a green color and to open it, you must correctly locate the butterfly card three times.

Chest 2

The second chest can be found on the same path as the first, but if you vveer left instead of right. It is located inside what appears to be a dining room and glows a red color. To open it, you need to complete a matching game successfully.

Chest 3

Just like the second chest, the third requires you to match cards correctly to open it. The chest itself is yellow in color and is found when you go to the pathway on the left and make the first left turn.

Chest 4

The fourth chest is located at the end of the path where you can find the third chest, just past a rock wall. You’ll need to maneuver through a short maze before finally coming across the blue chest. The puzzle is the same as the first and requires you to find the butterfly card three times.

Simon Says

After successfully finding and opening all four chests, you will be taken back to the main area of Valentine’s Hell to play Simon Says. A screen will display a series of four colors in a specific order, and you need to approach statues that match said color three times to unlock three locks. After completing this, you’ll be met with the final challenge of this chapter.

Valentine’s Hell Obstacle Course

Once you’ve finished the Simon Says minigame, you’ll be met with an obby that asks you to turn on glowing orbs and unlock new courses. This course is pretty easy, because if you fall, you’ll be immediately taken to the last orb you activated. There also isn’t a time limit to watch out for. Once finished, you will be taken back to the Chapter select area to proceed to Chapter 2.

Completing Valentine’s Quest Chapter 2

It appears that all of Chapter 2 is the very same as Chapter 1, minus the potion brewing and arrow shooting minigames. Instead, you’ll immediately begin in Valentine’s Hell where you’re tasked with finding four chests.

Valentine’s Hell 2.0

The layout of Valentine’s Hell this time around is very similar to Chapter 1’s. The only difference is that the chests will be located in different areas of their respective pavilions. However, even then, I realized that the locations of the chests change every time you play.

Chest 1

The first chest is located in the same area as the first in Chapter 1: a sort of cemetery area on when you head towards the right of the pathway. The chest will be highlighted in green and will ask you to play the same puzzle minigame as last time.

Chest 2

Across from where you found the green chest will be the dining room area where the red chest can be found. Locate it, solve the puzzle, and move on to the third chest.

Chest 3

The third chest is located to the left of when you first drop into Valentine’s Hell, in an area that resembles a meadow with a well. Here, you’ll find the yellow chest.

Chest 4

The fourth chest is located directly across from the yellow one, inside a hole in the wall that leads to a house with a maze inside. Once you’ve figured out where the blue chest is, you’ll immediately be teleported back to the front of a large door for the next minigame.

Simon Says 2.0

Similar to in Chapter 1, you’ll need to match the colors presented in the Simon Says game with the corresponding statues three times in order to unlock the door. Beyond the door will be the final minigame of this quest.

Obstacle Course 2.0

After finishing the Simon Says game, you’ll be taken to another obstacle course room where you will be tasked with making it to the end. This obstacle course is the exact same as the one from Chapter 1 of the Valentine’s Quest, so it should be easy to tackle.
