Cramps are serious business, although it is something that many people deal with for several days every month. However, some experience indescribable and disabling pain during their periods. That’s why several companies or organizations want to bring more attention to these problems. On Reddit, a video went viral, mainly because a cowboy from Calgary in Alberta, Canada, tries the challenge of barely bearing the pain of a period pain simulator. Although the funny thing is to see the poor cowboy suffering, the truth is that you can see on his face that the simulated cramps are excruciating.

The Redditor Ted_Bundtcake shared on r/TikTokCringe a video from getsomedays, a company that sells natural products to help with period pain. However, getsomedays, in addition to selling products, also has several programs, blogs, and resources to help those who suffer from pain during their periods. Among the ways getsomedays tries to raise awareness about illnesses like endometriosis and what causes severe cramps is that they use a period pain simulator to help people see how disabling cramps can be. This video is a bit old now, as it is from the Calgary Stampede of 2022 in Alberta, Canada, but this is where we see this cowboy barely withstand the shocks of the period pain simulator.

Now, put it on his bu****le to simulate those random lightning bolt pains that will bring you to your knees.

Edit: I’m dying. I got an award for a comment about bules. 🤣Thanks for all the likes y’all!

It’s great to see that there is more and more information about period-related diseases and pains, although, in this specific example, they only focus on cramps. The truth is that people with periods suffer a whole host of other symptoms, such as diarrhea, blood clots, fainting, significant blood loss, back pain, mood swings, irritability, fatigue, and many, many more. However, although the period pain simulator is not precisely accurate, it is a handy tool for more people to understand when some people are suffering from this pain. It’s all because there are many cases where doctors believe that when someone with periods has such intense pain, it’s more because they are exaggerating it.
