If your jaws dropped the moment Soldier 0 Anby was announced, you can leave your jaws there for longer because Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6 brings even more things. For the unaware, the 1.6 Special Program unveiled everything coming to the next major update for ZZZ, including three new characters, agent records, and a plethora of events. So, as always, get your Polychrome ready because these new characters deserve a spot on everyone’s roster.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6 Launches on March 12, 2025
In case you missed the 1.6 Special Program, you can watch the teaser above, showing all that’s coming to Zenless Zone Zero. As usual, the highlights are the new characters. This time, we’re getting Soldier 0 Anby, which is an S-Rank Attack/Electric Agent. She’ll be accompanied by Burnice, who’s getting a re-run, and Proxies can also pull here to obtain Pulchra, a new A-Rank Physical/Stun Agent. All of these characters will be part of the update’s first phase.
For the second phase, we have Trigger, a new S-Rank Electric/Stun Agent. Joining her is Zhu Yuan, who’s getting a re-run. If you missed the chance of pulling for one of New Eridu’s most powerful officers, now’s your chance. So far, all characters coming to Version 1.6 look great, so you can save your Polychrome for your favorite or try your luck and pull them all; I know I will.
A Version Packed With Story and Events
Beyond the characters, Version 1.6 will also bring a new main story chapter, “Bury Your Tears With the Past (A).” Hugh and Vivian seemed to be involved in a high-stakes auction, where more things about Sacrifice might come to light. Speaking of discovering things, New Eridu’s military factions take their place under the spotlight, so those eager to know more about Anby and Soldier 11 will need to watch out for this. In addition to that, Trigger and Anby’s agent stories are coming, too.
For those curious about the event, Version 1.6 is bringing many to Zenless Zone Zero. Trigger’s TV schedule will include a new sniper gameplay mode. Battlefront Purge is getting a new difficulty. The always welcome log-in bonus for 10 Master Encrypted Tapes is also returning. “Eh-Nah” Into Your Lap will also arrive with 10 free Boopon. There’s also a new event called March On, Tiny Titan! Which will reward players with a free Pulchra.
There are many more things coming to this Version, so if you’re still fishing in Port Elpis or completing the New Year’s event, you better finish those things quickly. Remember to mark your calendars for March 12, and prepare for another packed update.
