We have just about seen it all in just a short amount of time since Trump won the election and took office. From sweeping government changes, ICE moving quickly to deport illegals and undocumented immigrants, and DOGE gutting a lot of established government institutions. However, the heated and tense argument between Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, Trump, and Vance was one for the ages. It’s gaining Zelenskyy admiration on social media, while a viral video of other politicians in that room looking nervous as the argument intensified.
In a pair of viral Reddit posts, one by Holy Fruits in the r/publicfreakouts Reddit page and another by ApocalypseBS in the r/Genz page, we can see praise for Zelenskyy among Gen Z citizens and viral videos of other political figures getting quite nervous and downright uncomfortable while the fighting ramped up.
In one video, Oksana Markarova, Ukraine’s Ambassador to the United States, can be seen rubbing her face in agony as the argument continues. She clearly seems stressed at how difficult future relations between the two nations will become. Folks had this to say about her reaction.

In the other post, Gen Z people went wild praising Zelenskyy and how good he looked despite the insanity of the fight he was having.

“Done his best in an impossible situation. One of the few politicians you can clearly see on his face he cares. Watch today’s White House video with Trump and Vance (or better yet, don’t, it’s painful to watch), and look at his face. It takes everything in him to have the restraint not to tell Dumb and Dumber to f*** off to the North Pole, but he thinks of what’s best for his country, so he tries to keep it together even as he’s being disrespected left and right for no reason.”
Some folks disagree and think it’s great that America has a president with a backbone. Only one thing is clear: this huge incident will have ramifications that persist far down the line.
