A Texas man named Ronald Ernest Milles is a person of interest in the death of Elizabeth Ann Duckworth, 65. Duckworth’s body was found in an alley wrapped in plastic earlier this month. The Amarillo police are now investigating the situation, and believe that Milles, 67, may have information. While piecing together what went down, the authorities are claiming that the woman’s body may have been pushed in a stroller before being placed in the alley.

Ronald Ernest Milles was identified and police began looking for the Texas man. They asked in a statement that residents check their security cameras for any footage that may help them figure out the sequence of events. The statement also revealed that Milles was seen around local homeless camps in the area, per People Magazine.

“Witnesses report that the body may have been put in a stroller and pushed around the neighborhood,” the police statement reads, revealing that Milles is a “person of interest” in the “ongoing” investigation in the “suspicious death.”

Update on body found in alley Tuesday afternoon

Just days after Duckworth’s body was found, Milles was booked into the Randall County jail on an unrelated charge of drug paraphernalia. The Texas man is said to have several past charges that date back to 2018. Some of his past charges include felony drug possession, evading arrest, as well as injury to a child, elderly, or disabled person with intent to cause bodily harm.

WDBJ7 reports that Milles and Duckworth appeared to be in a romantic relationship during the time of her death. Currently, Duckworth’s autopsy results are pending. Those close to the victim revealed that she had plenty of family as she was a sister, mother, and aunt. She was also remembered for “always having a good time.”

Duckworth’s body was found on Tuesday, March 11. Soon after witnesses came forward claiming that Milles had been pushing her in a stroller, but it’s unclear at this time if those reports have been verified or if Duckworth was deceased at that time.

“He looks troubled. I hope this all gets sorted out for the loved ones of everyone involved,” one person commented on the situation.

“He looks guilty, but that’s why we go to trial,” another said.

“It sounds like this man should’ve already been in jail,” a third comment read.

It’s yet to be reported if Ronald Milles will be charged in connection to Elizabeth Duckworth’s death or if he did push her dead body around in a stroller. However, the Texas man likely has some important information since he was close to the victim.
