I stand firmly by the belief that there is never a right time or place to be incredibly terrible to someone. Sure, maybe a Quentin Tarantino film set might be the only place in the world where it’s appropriate to shell out racist slurs or commit social crimes that would otherwise get you arrested, but the world is anything but a film set. A Beverly, Massachusetts man filmed the moment when a boomer decided to get in his face for speeding in a neighborhood. Unfortunately, the boomer Karen just couldn’t take accountability for his actions, resulting in a rather loud public debacle.
The Facebook video depicts Yansiel Carter, a delivery driver for Amazon, arguing with another gentleman. The events that the argument are about happened before Carter hit the record button, but the other gentleman, an older male, did a great job of explaining what happened. It appears that before the cameras started rolling, the older man was speeding down a residential street when he needed to come to a sudden stop because of an Amazon delivery car driving through a stop sign intersection.
If you are unfamiliar with how these intersections work, then here’s a breakdown. As cars approach the stop sign on their side of the road, they need to be wary of their turn in the order in which the vehicles reach their respective stop signs. It appears that, instead of waiting for the delivery driver to go after making its stop, the older gentleman wanted to go first, resulting in a near collision.
“Now if I left him with no teeth and made sure that was his last breathe I’m the bad person. This isn’t okay!!”
The video ends before we can see what the exact resolution is, but it also appears that the two might have just continued arguing well after the camera turned off. Honestly, I’m not sure why the driver insists on arguing because you can tell that the older gentleman isn’t going to let this go.
Fortunately, it appears that no one was actually injured and that it was just a close call. However, the older man does try to intimidate the other driver by pushing him. So, I can only imagine what sort of punishment he might have received should the delivery driver show the footage to the authorities.
