All Weapons in The First Berserker: Khazan Ranked from Worst to Best

A threefold menace

While The First Berserker: Khazan might not have the largest armory in souls-like games, its few weapons are quite impactful and engaging. However, since you can only equip one at a time, you might want to start creating your build revolving around a specific one. If you’re struggling to decide which one is the best pick for you, we’ve ranked all weapons in The First Berserker: Khazan from worst to best.

3. Greatsword

Despite me being a Greatsword main, I must admit that this one isn’t the friendliest out of the tree. It packs the highest DPS numbers, and it can take enemies down with fewer hits compared to the other armaments. However, its speed might be one thing that will frustrate players. With how fast enemies attack, the Spead and Dual-wield weapons are better options to get more hits in during certain fights. Furthermore, timing is vital for Greatsword users, which adds another layer of difficulty to the already challenging game. Yet, the one thing that has in its favor is the possibility of creating a tank build. Certain skills let you take a few blows while you charge an attack, so if you prefer a slower and more methodical playstyle, the Greatsword might be a good pick for you.

2. Dual-wield

As the starting weapon or weapon in The First Berserker: Khazan, these are solid choices that will carry you through the endgame. They have fantastic offensive and defensive capabilities and are quite easy to use, especially if you’re more used to action-oriented combat instead of the usual souls-like fighting. Yet, they do not come close to what the Spear can do, but more on that later. We recommend dual-wield, however, especially due to how easy it is to build around these weapons, as well as how flashy their skills are. Also, compared to the Greatsword, using Dual-wield isn’t as punishing. You can cancel your combos faster, and not hitting an enemy won’t cause you to die like the aforementioned large weapon. A solid choice overall, yet not the best.

1. Spear

Everyone and their grandmother should know that the Spear is the best weapon in The First Berserker: Khazan; it has everything. It has the reach of the Greatsword, but its charged attacks go off faster. It attacks almost as quickly as the Dual-wield weapons, but it hits harder. The Spear is the ultimate weapon, and while it may seem hard for some, it is actually one of the easiest to use in the whole game. Furthermore, it has many useful skills you can unlock by investing in its tree, which will help you both offensively and defensively. So, if you want an all-rounder armament that hits hard, is easy to use, and looks flashy, Spear is a great choice.

You Can Focus on Two Weapons, Though

While you can only equip one weapon at a time, the general recommendation focuses on two weapons. While leveling up, it is recommended to spread your stat points on different skills. If you level, let’s say, Strength only, you won’t have a good build and will lack in some other ways. So, by focusing on two, you’ll have a better build and the ability to swap between weapons. Plus, it is good to have variety unless you don’t mind spending more than 40 hours with just one weapon.
