In Ohio, there’s been a firestorm of activity from protests, Tesla rampages, Trump love and hate, and much more. Well, after the tariffs that have come in the recent days from the administration, it seems like some Democrats are getting ideas. Tim Walz has decided to head into Youngstown and hold a town hall meeting in a decidedly red part of the State. Only time will tell how it goes, but many folks online had plenty to say.
As posted by Reddit by user clevelanddotcom in the R/Ohio page shared a story about Minnesota Democrat and former Vice President Elect Tim Walz and a pair of town halls he plans to hold early next week in two Republican counties in Ohio, Youngstown and Lorain. Both events are apparently sold out, and in light of recent town halls and how volatile they are, who knows what will happen during these events? This is what folks on Reddit had to say about his plans.
“Go, Tim, go.”
“Crud, Lorain’s is sold out.”
“Florida districts with special elections last election gop won by 34 points this election 14.”
“Dude is the vice president we deserved, instead of couch sex offender”
“If there is an opening, it’s now. BUT I agree, we need more action and plans discussed from Democrats to win back the working class and those who decided voting wasn’t important.”
According to Cleveland.com, Ohio Democratic Party spokeswoman Katie Sewer issued a statement about the event.
This is our chance to say, if your member of congress won’t show up when you’re hurting, Democrats are going to show up
The events are sold out, so we look forward to seeing what happens when Tim Walz takes the stage in Youngtown.
