Many women and young girls find a very unique and special place in books, especially romance books. There is more openness, and we can better see the personality of female readers with a weakness for passionate romances. If you don’t believe me, you should check out BookTok. However, sometimes, this passion can be overly fiery. As shared on the TikTok of an influencer from Canada, who attended a very hot romance book event, or so it seemed, because the fire alarms went off. And before anything else, everyone at the event was fine, except for some very embarrassed, handsome firefighters.
On her TikTok, this influencer of Canada, vinylswithvic, often shares videos of her reading-focused lifestyle, so she showed a clip from a romance book event in Toronto. But this wasn’t just any event, as halfway through a talk with authors Abby Jimenez and Hannah Bona-Young full of passionate romance, the fire detectors couldn’t hold out any longer, and the alarm started going off. Apparently, there was no fire, and the mood in the room set off the alarm. However, three handsome firefighters arrived at the event, full of mostly women with a passion for romance. At first, the firefighters were confused by the crowd, and then, by the attendees’ compliments, they blushed.

Others lamented that they couldn’t attend that particular event and that the firefighters in their countries are not as good-looking as those in Canada. In my personal experience, after having visited Canada, I can say that police and firefighters in any province are attractive enough. I don’t know if something similar happens in other countries with their uniformed officers.
