ICE tyranny over America has been worsening as President Trump continues to rule. In their latest incident, their attempt to kidnap a woman also involved the whole neighborhood in Massachusetts. The new target of these ICE agents is an immigrant family in Worcester. The father had already been arrested several days ago but was luckily returned. However, it seemed the ICE agents weren’t done with this family, as they targeted the mother next. Peace in Worcester was broken when the neighbors noticed several agents surrounding the immigrant mother and her two kids, one a teenager and the other a baby.
The neighbors didn’t just watch; they quickly defended their fellow Americans by forming a human ring around the family. This didn’t cause the ICE agents to back down, as they even called Worcester police for backup. It was at this point that things got a bit more heated. With help arriving, the agents were finally able to force the mother into the car.
This caused the teenage daughter to finally snap. She handed her baby sibling to a neighbor before chasing after the vehicle and kicking the passenger side. A police officer even noted that it looked as if the girl was planning to throw herself in front of the car to stop the ICE agents from taking her mother away.
Another person who got a bit wild during the incident was Ashley Spring, a candidate for Worcester School Committee. Seeing the officers try to arrest the teen girl, she threw an unknown liquid substance at the officers and pushed them away. The two of them were then arrested for daring to fight back.
There’s a reason why the people in this Massachusetts neighborhood are fighting so hard against ICE agents. Nearly a quarter of those who live in the area are foreign-born, so they definitely won’t tolerate the agents’ out-of-control actions of detaining without warrants.
Many internet users who saw the video applaud the daring act of the Worcester neighborhood. They agree that ICE agents have been going too far and that the endless arrests without warrants have to be stopped. “This is how ‘hiding people in the attic’ began…” one Redditor said.
Others criticized the charges thrown at the young teen and Spring, finding them unreasonable. One user said, “They’re charging her with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon for throwing a drink at the cops. What a f***ng crock of shit.”
