Another day, another Karen incident, or well, another video claiming to feature a Karen, but we will let you be the judge. Whether it’s racist ones, furious ones, the one thing they have in common is that they are not afraid to give you a piece of their mind, right or wrong. In a video captured in a South Florida Enterprise store, a woman with her daughter can be seen telling off an employee as she demands better customer service, and he disagrees and accuses her daughter of jumping into the argument.
In a short video shared by user Dmoneyyooo on the r/PublicFreakout page, a woman can be seen with her daughter as she patiently but firmly tells off an Enterprise Rent-A-Car worker. She herself used to work there and is clearly disagreeing with something the worker said before the cameras rolled. This is what she says.
Maybe you can do that, as a customer service rep, and management at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, like I used to do for people when I worked at Enterprise. Thank you.
He then disputes what she says and claims she cursed at him several times. Amusingly, he ends his spiel by saying her daughter told him to shut up. It must have really happened because she didn’t deny it; instead, she said, “Well, you’re kind of pathetic.“
Some folks on the Reddit post had things to say about her demeanor.
“I think your definition of ‘crazy’ is wildly different from the rest of the worlds definition.”
“The only thing softer than this level of crazy is the person who thinks this is acting crazy.”
“I cursed at you once”
“Kid is already doomed from her mother’s shinning examples.”
Reddit doesn’t really agree with the post creator that she was being exceptionally harsh, while others think she is setting a bad example for her daughter. Either way, customer service still seems like a thankless job, and hopefully, both the Florida customer and worker can move on from the incident with better experiences elsewhere.
