May 12 was a big day for anyone involved or interested in the Sean “Diddy” Combs mess because it marked his first big trial. As expected, tensions were somewhat high in the Diddy trial courthouse and also outside as an unknown and half-naked man in New York crashed the courthouse press area and started hurling out the extent of his colorful vocabulary.
The footage was initially posted on TikTok by marcusjcarothers, though he has since restricted access to the video and his account, likely due to the profanity. The video has since been reposted many times. The May 12 footage shows an Entertainment Tonight reporter getting ready to go on air when, out of nowhere, a topless man started yelling out all manner of profanity.
The ET reporter did try to request silence from the man so they could do their job, but this only escalated the confrontation, and the unknown man started attacking everyone verbally, especially the female reporter. Apparently, nobody knows who the local is, but his outburst and rant are likely unrelated to the Diddy trial.
The man, who could also be mistaken for a derelict, could’ve also been intoxicated as he appears to have no particular target or point for his rant due to its incoherence. He started off with showing everyone “This is how racist I am, white boy,” and eventually started directing his anger towards gays and Nazis.
All this took place at the public entrance of the Daniel Patrick Moynihan courthouse in Lower Manhattan, New York. Oddly enough, the press kept trying to reason with the man instead of calling for security or the police.
Some Comparisons Were Drawn
Even if the incident was unrelated to what’s happening inside the Diddy trial courthouse, people online still managed to somewhat connect it to the disgraced rapper and celebrity. One of the most highly-liked and upvoted comments online was a joke about how “Jay Z not taking the trial well it seems,” says Redditor Cerveza_por_favor.
Some of the more apt comparisons, however, likened the loud and aggressive New Yorker to Kanye West, who recently has been ramping up his notoriety online, particularly in X/Twitter. Some people have joked that it’s “Nice of Kanye to show up,” according to Redditor dontshitaboutotol.
It’s worth noting that Kanye is a stalwart supporter of Sean Combs and the two have even voiced out and recorded their “love” and friendship despite what’s happening with Combs right now. As for the Diddy trial itself, it’s still ongoing, and at the moment, Cassie Ventura is at the forefront of the accusations against Sean Combs.
