Delaware Realtor Is Giving Customers the Best Incentives to Buy a House

Smart thinking

The housing market in the US is not to be taken lightly, and realtors never have it easy. With fluctuating prices, neighborhoods changing, HOA Karens, and more, these people are always looking for ways to encourage people to buy their new home. With that in mind, many real estate agents look for creative ways to convince potential buyers to seal the deal, and recently, one realtor in Delaware has come up with an idea to encourage people to get a house. Whether it works or not, that’s a whole other deal, but we have to commend her creativity.

Hilarious realtor marketing I spotted in Wilmington
byu/Square-Investment779 inDelaware

Square-Investment779 shared a picture on the Delaware subreddit of a realtor in Wilmington offering free pizza after purchasing a home. In case it wasn’t clear enough, this is a joke advertisement (or so we hope). Still, it is a fun thing to see, especially since pizza isn’t the incentive you might be looking for after getting your new home. Furthermore, there are a few loopholes with the deal. How many slices of pizza come with the house? The ad says “free pizza,” but never specifies the amount. Also, does it include toppings? If so, how many?

In truth, these are all just questions that might never get an answer, but it is always nice to see realtors adding a bit of fun to their selling strategies, even if they are just meant to be funny.

As you can expect, many Redditors played along with the marketing strategy.

“Patterson Schwartz did me good when I bought in ‘21. Wish I got a pizza 😩” – Wyxter via Reddit.

“Any DuPont can afford two pizzas at least.” – jcmib via Reddit.

The above comment is one of the few that sparked a discussion in the post. As you may or may not know, the Du Pont family is among the wealthiest families. Or that’s what people say. It is uncertain if the realtor is of that family, but if she is, many think the pizza is a cheap incentive. We’re not saying they should include a car or diamonds with the house, but something beyond a pizza would be better.

It is great to see real estate agents looking for funny things to add when selling. Even if it isn’t the best reward, it’s still a great tactic, and, in the end, this realtor created a lot of awareness with this advertisement.
