A Mississippi man made a huge mistake when he walked into a local bar called CJ’s Lounge and began going on a rant filled with racial slurs. The bargoer was reportedly aggressive and hateful with his speech and actions, which caused the other customers to take shocking action. The man was then taken outside, stripped naked, and badly beaten in what is being called a possible hate crime against the original aggressor.
According to Fox 13, after going on his racist tirade, he also allegedly made gang signs with his hands. This led some of the bar patrons to take matters into their own hands. Once the Mississippi man was outside the bar, his clothing was forcefully removed, and he was beaten with poles and sticks as some people around the area shot footage on their phones. In addition, some of his attackers also poured liquid on the man, which was thought to be beer.
“The guy walked in, and he was very aggressive,” said witness Miles Stone. “Other guys in the area were listening, trying to remain calm. They asked him to leave quietly. When they were scuffling outside, he was still using the N-word: ‘F you N’s, f you N’s.'” Stone said.
While Stone says that he doesn’t condone the behavior of the people who attacked the man, he did admit that the man made a poor choice and had to deal with the consequences of his actions.

“I’m not standing for anything like that. However, we have to live with our choices, and he made the choice to go in there aggressively, and he has to live with the choice he’s made,” Stone stated.
Meanwhile, the bar is said to be a hot spot for drama and criminal activity. The police were reportedly called to the establishment about 30 times in the past few months, making it a problem area in the town.
After the most recent incident, the bar was shut down, and it was revealed that they were operating without a business or liquor license.
“Wtf did he think was going to happen?” one person wrote via Reddit.
“How is this a hate crime? He got attacked because of his racist actions, not because of his identity,” another comment read.
“Now he can start a GoFundMe,” a third person quipped.
“He came in looking for trouble,” a fourth comment read.
The beaten Mississippi man was said to have gone to the hospital the following day, and believed he may have had a broken jaw from the attack. The investigation is still ongoing, and police reportedly have a person of interest whom they’re speaking with.
