Judge Jeanine Pirro posted a long rant lamenting about paying for water in a government office. She serves as the interim United States attorney for the District of Columbia. In the video captioned “the federal government has money for everyone but us,” Pirro, wearing a blazer dress, can be seen standing in front of a water cooler.

The judge introduced herself and claimed that the U.S. funds dancing classes in Wuhan, China, and Sesame Street in Iraq with over $44 billion yearly through USAID. However, attorneys in the country have to pay for water in the government building.

“Here in the U.S. in the United States Attorney’s Office, where we prosecute crime on behalf of the victims and people targeted by criminals— The U.S. attorneys as well as the staff, in order to get water, they have to join the Water Club and they have to pay.”

Pirro disclosed that the subscription fee for the Water Club was $7 monthly. Explaining why she was frustrated, the former Fox News commentator said they still had no access to water. The video then panned to show several empty water containers at the side of the office.

Judge Pirro ended her rant by sarcastically saying, “Ain’t it grand to be part of the government? And I’m just thrilled to be here.”

In reaction to the video, several social media users called the judge out for complaining. One commented, “Children are dying abroad because we cut USAID, and this ghoul is complaining that she has to drink tap water for a day.” Another added: “Governance by troll— great job Republicans.”

A third user remarked, “I see. We can only do humanitarian things for the poor around the world, OR we can pay for American lawyers to have free bottled water. Not both? Naturally.”

Other users pointed out that if the judge has “plenty of money for gold buttons that look like nipples,” she can afford to bring her water to work. One added: “They have to feed outrage every day. I’d assume that’d be tiring without access to a bunch of coke/uppers.”

Judge Pirro’s outburst comes just a week after being sworn in as D.C.’s top prosecutor after predecessor Ed Martin’s nomination was withdrawn, per CNN. Before now, Pirro was a judge and district attorney for Westchester County in New York, and the last time she worked in a justice system was in 2005. Following that, she took up a role as a TV host. She is also known for being a close friend and avid supporter of U.S. President Donald Trump.
