We’ve been waiting a month for anything official revealing Call of Duty 2025, AKA project Saturn. The game was leaked to be a Black Ops sequel, and some fans call it Black Ops 7, even though no insider or leaker is calling it that name. However, while the hype for the new game is growing, huge Modern Warfare 4 leaks from a prominent insider based on Call of Duty 2025 have suddenly surfaced.
In essence, we get to know what could be about to happen in future Call of Duty games. It was almost two years ago that Call of Duty 2026‘s title was leaked. However, there’s too much that we know from the upcoming Task Force 141 adventure, including DMZ 2.0, a new CoD engine reveal, and the Omnimovement and wall-running probably getting ditched.
The big news, however, is about the plot taking the war to Korea: North and South. It’s kind of reminding me of Homefront, but they could go anywhere with the new story since the game is set in the modern era after the events of MWIII. This is the first ever Call of Duty to set its crosshairs on this setting, and that’s why all this news and hype for Modern Warfare 4 is trending up.
Did you feel that? CoD 2025 got buried under the MW4 narrative there. The reason? Call of Duty 2025 is most probably getting a MWIII treatment. We’re getting weapons and operators carried over to the new game, and the insider info even suggests that you can play BO6 Zombies maps in Black Ops 7.
Also, MWIII had a super rushed plot at its core, and so does Black Ops 7 when it comes to the Campaign side of things. If that’s the case, we’re getting another “$70 DLC” this year, which is why there’s already a hate wave hitting this title before it’s even been announced. Speaking of which, MWIII got its first teasers back in August 2023, and if BO7 is stepping in that same direction, we won’t be getting anything related to the new title anytime soon.
