At some point in our lives, we’ve all dreamt of donning a superhero cape, right? But the reality is, getting the chance to be a superhero is far from an easy thing to do. In fact, sorry to burst your bubble, but it’s pretty much impossible in the real world, sadly. That may not be the case in San Diego, however, where a resident discovered a mysterious note promoting a “superhero” vigilante group. The downside? It seems to be some sort of violent and racist gang that promotes murder with “hammer hits”. Clearly, this is not exactly the type of “superhero” anyone wants in their neighborhood.
Published on the r/sandiego sub-reddit earlier today, a Redditor that goes by the username jazzbelarde025 posted an incredibly troubling note that appears to be some sort of peculiar ad. Accompanying the image was the question, “Racist vigilante group in SD?” with a brief sentence outlining how the Reddit user obtained it: “Anyone else get this? Was in a little plastic bag on my windshield lol“
The note in question features some very disturbing claims, and sheds light on a mysterious and violent vigilante group that allegedly “make evil people disappear without a trace“. Here’s the note transcribed in full:
We Want You To Become A Superhero Just Like Us
via r/sandiego on Reddit
What are you doing with your life? We are real-life superheroes. We want you to join us and become an Eliminator. We make evil people disappear without a trace. We use personal knowledge, anonymous tips, news media coverage, and public records to track down and kill rapists, child molesters, shoplifters, pedophiles, serial killers, drug addicts, illegal aliens, bullies, graffiti vandals, homosexuals, Socialists, homeless bums, abortionists, Marxists, prostitutes, n*ggers, sociopaths, baby killers, child abusers, atheists, pornographers, transvestites, and gangbangers and terrorists, including anyone in labor unions, Mexican smuggling cartels, Chinese Communism, Black Lives Matter, Democrats, Islam, Antifa, and La Raza. We lure evil people to us with false promises of cash, jobs, fake apartment rentals, drugs, electronics, friendship, gemstones, precious metals, sex, tickets to sports and entertainment events, and other offers that they cannot resist. We kill them with hammer hits to the back of the head, so there is no loud sound of guns being fired or messy blood from knife cuts, and then we dispose of their bodies in ways that they never will be found.
As you can see, the person — or people — who wrote this note are clearly not only racist, but totally unhinged. Astonishingly, though, the disturbing note continues to get even more troubling.
Anything of value becomes our property, making us wealthy, in possession of considerable resources, and never lacking in anything we want. We work alone, in pairs, and in groups. We dress as security guards, construction workers, business professionals, homeless bums, illegal aliens, uniformed maintenance workers, and in other disguises. We do not announce ourselves, and we work quietly without seeking publicity. We refer to ourselves as ‘the organization,’ ‘other good people,’ and the ‘right people.’ As Eliminator superheroes, we are cleaning up society in this city, this state, this country, and worldwide.

We dress in our disguises and bring our hidden hammers to meet every day after dark by the trolley stop on the corner of 6th Avenue and C Street in Downtown San Diego.
What’s truly bizarre is the fact that “the organization” decided to leave a specific address to meet on the note, which I’m sure will come in useful to the police who will likely investigate this concerning incident due to its threatening nature.
Of course, social media users pored over the information and many weighed in with their thoughts on the unsettling post. Some Redditors believed that it could be the work of someone with schizophrenia, with one writing, “Schizophrenic got access to an HP Inkjet Printer. Tale as old as time” while another added, “It does sound like schizophrenia. I had a friend come down with it and she would type up ish like this. I had to stop communicating with her“.
Others, meanwhile, couldn’t believe how foolish the author was to leave a location at the end of the note, penning, “They add the location of their super secret meeting to the end of the letter?” A fourth commenter noted the volume of different targets on the list, expressing, “So this kill list includes over 60% of the population of the US?“
While it’s currently unclear whether the San Diego police have been notified about this worrying note, we’re hopeful that some sort of investigation can be undertaken to identify the individual or individuals behind this so-called “Eliminator” group. Even if it is just one person acting alone, it’s clear that the police need to make some kind of intervention to keep everyone safe. Ultimately, though, it doesn’t sound like a superhero group that I’d want to join any time soon.
