New Mexico Flea Market Vendor Threatens Customers With Police After Discovering SKIMS Shapewear Was Sold Cheap: ‘A Deal Is a Deal!’

How ridiculous

A flea market sale in Albuquerque, New Mexico, nearly led to police involvement after the vendor discovered that a SKIMS bra had been sold to one customer for a lower price. The customer filmed the ordeal and shared it on TikTok, with the caption explaining that an elderly lady at the stand informed them that the prices were cheap. They picked up four SKIMS underwear, which the woman told them were $12, and they paid.

backstory >> granny welcomed us in and said they buy bulk and prices are cheap. We picked up skims and the lady said $12 for all 4 items. Once we pay we walk away and the vendor comes and makes granny yell for us to come back because she heard us say skims as we were walking away…

However, soon after they left the stand, they were called back by a woman who claimed to be the true owner of the goods. The lady told them they were underpaid for the SKIMS and demanded that they return the items.

As seen in the video, the pregnant vendor explained to the customer that the woman who sold the items to them was only helping her and was unaware of the price.

“Can I have my stuff back, please, because I know they’re not worth what she sold them to you for?” the pregnant seller requested. She continued, “As you know, Skims do cost a lot. And I do pay a pretty penny for them. So I don’t sell them for three bucks.”

However, the buyer refused to return the item, prompting the seller to threaten to involve the police. “I can get the cops involved, too, because this is my stuff,” the woman threatened.

In response, the customer argued that the elderly woman was “working” for the vendor. The seller immediately denied their claim, stating that the granny wasn’t her employee, and then asked to search their bags.

The argument between the customer and the vendor went on for a while, and soon, the granny admitted to being at fault for not knowing the price. Despite the admission from the old lady, the customer still insisted that they wouldn’t be returning the items. “We made the sale and the sale is final,” the buyer declared.

The video went viral, and in no time, internet users were divided on whose side to take. This user supported the customer, writing, “A DEAL IS A DEAL.” A second user reiterated, “Once you leave, the transaction is over.” A third individual suggested the vendor take responsibility for the mistake.

Other netizens criticized the buyer for failing to realize that the granny had made a mistake. One observer wrote, “C’mon, you know it was a mistake. She is a pregnant woman, granny made a mistake – give the stuff back.”

A second critic added, “Grandma made a mistake, it’s not exactly their fault either. Support their business and be decent human beings and pay for what they’re worth.”

Was it just an honest mistake on the part of the seller?
