A set of identical twins named Max and Brody had a 16th birthday they’ll never forget. It started with the West Virginia brothers being dragged outside by their mother, Rebecca, to film a sweet video for social media. However, after some reminiscing and a few fun antics, the brothers were told a long-standing family secret about themselves that left them both stunned, but the internet didn’t appear to be surprised at all.
In the TikTok video, West Virginia mother Rebecca Gray, shared some information about her twins sons, Max and Brody. She revealed that when they were younger the family decided to not tell them which twin was older, so that they could form their own personalities and dominance within their relationship without an outside influence.
โWe have waited 16 years to tell you whoโs older. The reason why weโve done this is because when I was pregnant with you, I was reading a lot of twin books. One of those suggestions in that book was to not tell you in order that you would form your own dominance within the relationship,โ their mother explained.
West Virginia Twins Finally Learn Their Birth Order After 16 Years
However, before she dropped the big bombshell on the brothers, they had a bit of fun. Rebecca asked the twins to perform tasks with a barrier set up between them to see if the twin telepathy theory was true. She asked them to do things like hold up a number, raise their hand, turn around, and even bust out a dance move. Not surprisingly, the twins did nearly everything identically.
Finally, Rebecca asked the brothers to answer questions about themselves by pointing to the brother who was more likely to get married first, go to jail, and more. She eventually asked them which brother they thought was the oldest. Both twins pointed to Brody.
Rebecca had the boys close their eyes before laying out a sign in front of them to reveal their birth order. It was then revealed that Max was the older brother by 1 minute, and the brothers were stunned by the news, as they believed Brody was older. However, TikTok wasn’t quite as shocked.
“I knew in the first 10 seconds who was older,” one person commented.
“He just looks older in a way idk,” another said.
“I knew the one on the right was younger when they asked who would get arrested,” joked a third social media user.
“I guessed your left son was older because he was giving older brother vibes, and I was right!!” a fourth comment read.
Meanwhile, another joked that “they look unimpressed” during the video.
Well, the secret is out of the bag now for these West Virginia twin brothers. Now, Max has something to hold over Brody for the rest of their lives.
