Zenless Zone Zero had a fantastic launch for its second season, but HoYoverse isn’t pumping the brakes just yet. As you know, the initial adventure in Waifei Peninsula is almost over, but our Proxies’ story is far from over. For Version 2.1, Zenless Zone Zero will continue the main quest while also featuring its summer festivities, which are packed with events, outfits to get, currency to gather, and much more. So, it is time for you to wrap up your tasks at the Suiban Temple because the summer holiday is right around the corner.

Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.1 Launches on July 16

Version 2.1 Teaser - "The Impending Crash of Waves" | Zenless Zone Zero

For those who missed the Special Program of Version 2.1, you can watch the teaser above, which has all the things coming to Zenless Zone Zero in the next couple of weeks. For starters, there’s the continuation of the main story, which will introduce many new characters and a brand-new playable faction.

Of this faction, two Agents will join the roster. The first is Ukinami Yuzuha, an S-Rank Physical Support Agent, and Alice Thymefield, an S-Rank Physical Anomaly Agent. They will be available in the first and second halves, respectively. Miyabi will join Yuzuha during the first phase, while Yanagi will accompany Alice during the second phase. If you missed any of these Section 6 Agents, now’s your chance to pull for them.

Let The Summer Festivities Begin

While Version 2.0 was brimming with content, 2.1 isn’t falling behind, making it one of the biggest updates for Zenless Zone Zero. For starters, we’ll get a lot of summer-themed events, featuring fishing activities, surfing, shooting from a yacht, what seems to be an aquarium restoration event, and more. Also, players will be able to obtain new outfits for the Proxies, and two more outfits will be available for Yuzuha and Alice.

Furthermore, HoYoverse wants to show appreciation to all ZZZ players, and it will give players 1600 Polychrome, which everyone can claim right now until the end of Version 2.1. This is just on top of everything coming in the new update, so you’ll have a lot of currency to add these new Agents or previous ones to your roster.

Zenless Zone Zero isn’t bringing events only to Version 2.1; it is also bridging in-game elements with real-world experiences. From July 15 to August 15, Zenless Zone Zero will collaborate with all Butchies shops in London to bring the new ZZZing Burger. Players who purchase the ZZZing Burger Combo at participating stores will obtain a scratch-off card. This card will give players some in-game rewards, such as an avatar and profile card.
