To make things worse, one farmer in California has warned people about the upcoming 2025 harvest season. It would seem that due to the recent actions by Trump and ICE, some farmers will be going on strike, meaning that the food situation won’t be that great soon.

In the post, the person interviews a farmer in California who gives us a small tour around the fields. He then tells people, “All the harvests are coming, but the deportations are also coming.” The farmer also mentions how ICE received a lot more resources recently to make jails for “them.” Lastly, he ends up by saying, “Prepare with money, and prepare with food.”
Alone, this all sounds ominous, but there’s a reason for it. According to the OP, farmworkers are planning to go on strike when the 2025 harvest season begins in California. According to the information provided by the Instagram account, California is the largest agricultural state in the country, which feeds almost the entire country with what it harvests. And, as you may or may not know, a lot of people who have been targeted by ICE work in these fields, meaning that if these agents keep kidnapping people, who will harvest the things Americans consume?
