Thankfully, we don’t have to wait much longer for Travis Scott‘s new album because he just confirmed it’ll release in a matter of days. Jackboys 2 will officially arrive on Sunday, July 13. Scott shared the exciting news right after Justin Bieber announced his own surprise album, Swag. Fans are all asking the same question after learning the pair will both have new music out this week: Who will debut at No. 1?

‘Jackboys 2’ Confirmed For Sunday

Travis Scott and Justin Bieber are two of the biggest names in music. They always pull in big numbers when it comes to their single and album releases. Although they announced their latest projects at the last minute, there’s no doubt they’ll both still have massive sales.

For one, Scott has been teasing a new Jackboys for months. The record is a collaborative compilation album under Scott’s Cactus Jack Records. Various artists under the label team up on songs as part of the project. The first Jackboys was released in 2019. Considering it’s been six years since then, there’s been a lot of anticipation for its sequel. In March, Scott confirmed Jackboys 2 was coming soon. However, he didn’t announce an official release date until Friday night, meaning fans only have two days to prepare for the drop.

Travis Scott vs. Justin Bieber

As for Justin Bieber, he gave his fans an even smaller release window. He announced his seventh studio album, Swag, just hours before it arrived on July 11. He shared the news via billboards around the world featuring his album title, tracklist, and cover art. The most talked-about photos regarding his album featured him, Hailey Bieber, and their son, Jack. Since he and his wife have been at the center of divorce rumors recently, fans took the pictures as a sign the couple was denying marriage troubles between them. Hailey all but confirmed this when she showed support for Bieber’s new album alongside a shady message. “Is it finally clocking to you f*cking losers?” she wrote on Instagram.

Her comment has gone viral on social media. The drama is sure to get people talking about Swag. As if that wasn’t enough, Bieber also hasn’t released a new album in years, meaning the hype surrounding his latest release has been just as big as Scott’s.

Of course, Justin Bieber already has an advantage over Travis Scott when it comes to getting that No. 1. His album dropped two days before the rapper’s. While that may give him enough of a push to debut at No. 1, it’s still anyone’s game. Fans can’t wait to see who will come out on top. “That battle for No. 1 is going to be serious,” one person said. “We will be streaming,” another wrote.
