The public park was crowded, and he was surrounded by several other people sitting and walking around with their children and pets. The poster was attending her friend’s birthday in the park and was surrounded by her friend’s grandparents, children, and several other relatives.
From the context given in the caption, the man was causing a scene by leaving his dog unleashed. The dog then peed on the poster’s friend’s aunt, and instead of apologizing, its owner said, “My dog only pees on b*tches.” He then reiterated that his dog was not a threat but was only defending him because it was trained to “protect.”
Several other people in the park began asking the dog owner to go home if he wouldn’t restrain his dog. “Can you just go home!?… You need to go.”
Eventually, the police were called to the scene. However, when they arrived, they did nothing to de-escalate the situation, but said that the people who called them were being “too emotional.” Further emboldened by the cops, the man refused to leave but instead, stayed on with his dog even after the police left.
