ICE has taken the country by storm, and most liberal strongholds try to resist, but conservative states have ICE running wild and taking immigrants left and right. Texas, one of the strongest Republican strongholds in this country, has seen more than its fair share of activity involving the much-maligned agency. While many Americans were having a great Summer, some folks in Houston were not. ICE arrested the pregnant woman’s husband, and in her despair, she fell and rolled in front of their vehicle before they drove away with him. The whole sad affair was caught on video.
In Houston, Texas, a chaotic moment was captured on video and shared on the EyesonICE Reddit page by user CantStopPoppin. In the sad video, you can see a family pleading with some ICE agents to leave a man alone. His pregnant wife tries to intervene, and she starts getting roughed up a bit as they try to secure her man. A man can be heard yelling, “She’s pregnant“, and you can see the agents ease up a bit with her and the aggression.
As the agents grab the husband and escort him to their car, the woman begins to act hysterically as the soon-to-be father of her unborn child is about to be whisked away and likely deported. In a desperate last-ditch attempt, she throws herself on the ground and rolls to the front of their vehicle, trying to prevent their escape before the footage abruptly ends. With only 7 months into Trump’s regime, these deportations won’t end. If you’re an immigrant, especially an undocumented one, ICE seems inevitable at this point.
