If you read the title and clicked in because you didn’t know what a paramotor was, well, I had to look up what it was too. From my understanding, it is a small flying machine that can be operated without a license and can soar several hundred feet in the air. They are incredibly expensive, and honestly, a bit dangerous from the point of view of those watching it from below. Despite that, a Denver, Colorado, community came together to return a flying machine to their neighbor after it had been swiped off their porch. This just goes to show that when a community binds together, they can achieve anything.
The above video shows how a man went onto Denver, Colorado, resident Erica Massey’s fence and walked over to a large box on her porch. Dimensionally, the box is massive, and it clear that whatever is inside is worth a lot of money. So, with no one but the Ring camera that caught the entire situation in sight, the man snatched it, flipped it over the fence, and made off with it.
However, despite the devastating loss, Massey received another knock on her door several days later from members of her neighborhood. One man, Dominick Armstrong, noticed the large box being carried in a wagon, and thought it was suspucious. After prying the wagon from the man, he returned to Massey’s neighborhood, unsure of exactly who the paramotor belonged to. After knocking on every door to try and find Erica, he was finally met with a group of people who knew were her residence was, and escorted him to the property to allow him to deliver the package.
Commenters on the TikTok video were a bit judgmental, wondering why the delivery driver didn’t ask for a signature or wait for someone to come from inside the residence and claim the box. One commenter specifically said, “$8000 there should’ve been a signature. The delivery driver should not have left that.” While I agree, I’m just glad that the product made its way back home.
