Logan Paul is at the center of controversy again, albeit indirectly, regarding the vlog in which he recorded the body of a suicide victim in Japan’s Aokigahara Forest – also known as Suicide Forest. Paul’s visit to Japan has resulted in numerous video game spinouts about the incident.
The first game surrounding the video, titled Logan Paul: Suicide Forest Run, was actually directed specifically at the Youtuber as a means of chastising him. Already pulled from the Google Play store, the game’s developer told The Daily Dot they were surprised by its popularity.
“The main idea of my game was to show in a sarcastic way the reason Logan Paul went to the suicide forest,” the creator said. “The real reason [was] to get views, [and this] was intended to be sort of a meme game. Never thought it would get this much success. I heard it got 9 in U.S. Google Play rank, but I’m not sure. I didn’t set up ranking tools and app analytics, because never thought it would get this popular.”
The developer declined to use their real name for privacy reasons.
The most recent instance of a game surrounding the controversy is called The Suicide Forest. Found in the Creators Collection section of the Xbox Marketplace, the game only has a rating of PEGI 3. Meaning the Parental Guidance Recommendation is only 3 years old and younger.

The Suicide Forest’s description states that players are a vlogger who is going to explore the Aokigahara Forest in search for bodies in order to garner millions of views for their Youtube channel. It continues that players should be careful not to end up as one of the bodies they came to film.
There’s no telling how long the game will stay up on the marketplace, but developers Sad Smile also created the game for PC and Android devices.
