We all know that influencers, especially those of the “prankster” type, are among the most annoying ones in the country, or rather, the world. However, a few of them fail to read the room and tend to take things a bit too far just for some ephemeral internet clout. One example of such idiotic behaviour occurred in a hunting store in Long Island, New York, where an influencer grabbed a gun to check it out, and scared the whole store by telling them to get on the ground. Fortunately, this lame prankster was kicked out of the store by the employees and other customers.
In the video, we can see the so-called influencer asking for a gun inside a hunting store in Long Island. The individual holds it, points it forward, and screams, “Get down on the f*cking ground.” Fortunately, the hunting store’s staff acted quickly and removed the firearm from the influencer’s hand, saying, “What the f*ck is wrong with you?”
Like any other kids who want to make it big online, this disgraceful person tried to justify his actions, saying, “I just wanted to test it out,” and, “I’m training to be a cop.” All the workers and some customers became annoyed, claiming he was being stupid and irresponsible, especially with him acting as if in an active shooter situation, which is a delicate topic, especially in the US. Sadly, many people, especially young ones, consume this lazy content, which encourages these alleged influencers to keep pulling off these pranks.
In any case, many Redditors decided to comment on the matter, shaming this dumb influencer.

“It’s all about getting a reaction out of people for clicks and views. They should start fining a**holes like this for causing a public disturbance, so they have something to lose instead of something to gain.” Said another person.
In truth, all of the above statements are right. What pranksters do nowadays is only to get views and reactions, which, sadly, rewards them. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who keep rewarding this behaviour and engaging with it. In an ideal world, authorities would step in to stop these people. But we know that’s not going to happen anytime soon.
