Dying Light Franchise Update — August 2025

Recently, Techland unveiled its Franchise Update for August 2025, showcasing some of the things coming to the three games of the series. To begin with, the original Dying Light will get a free weekend from August 21 to August 25. In case you missed the first adventure, this is the perfect time to jump into it, as the June update brought some visual enhancements that will let you experience Crane’s first adventure before Dying Light: The Beast in all its visual glory.

For Dying Light 2, players will get the stamina patch, which will make parkour feel more like its predecessor, removing all stamina cost from parkour moves. Furthermore, the G.R.E. Mascot Bundle is coming, which includes the Big Globby Outfit, The Squasher, Lil Globby, Playtime Paraglider, and Penny Pusher Token. And if that wasn’t enough, there’s going to be a sale for both Dying Light and Dying Light 2, with the former with discounts up to 80% and the latter up to 70% off.
