Have you ever heard the phrase ‘get in and get out’ when it comes to grocery shopping? Many people don’t want to spend time they don’t have to in a store. One of the many reasons for this is due to the fact that you have to be in an enclosed space with a lot of people. Sometimes, those people are ignorant and just downright annoying. One Arizona woman was shocked when she was verbally berated by an angry man in a grocery store outing. The reason? He didn’t like the Palestinian flag she had on her.
TikTok user Suda (@sudabillinger2) posted a video of her recent grocery trip outing that went incredibly wrong. You can hear Suda saying, “Get away from me” as an older man in an American flag tanktop and sunglasses on his head gets all up in her business. He’s standing only a foot away from her as he says, “You f*****g stupid w***e.” He then continues, “Flying that garbage in our country. They’re f*****g terrorists, you stupid f*****g b***h.” He then points at her flag, which is a little Palestinian flag she has in her hand.
He shouts, “Stupid f*****g w***e!” and points in her face one last time as he quickly flees the grocery store building. The entire time, you can see workers and customers in the background staring at Suda. Nobody says a word or jumps into action to actually do anything.
Commenters were shocked by the lack of action as literally nobody said anything to the man for loudly berating Suda over a flag. Because, apparently, it’s okay for him to wear his flag shirt, but it’s not okay for her to display a flag that she’s proud of. One commenter said, “Not one d**n person came to her defense. Pisses me off.” One person, however, pointed out that it could have been because people like this man can quickly become dangerous. They said, “Because most people are only willing to risk their safety for their loved ones.” If he gets this angry over a little Palestine flag, then there are bigger issues at hand. As one commenter stated, “Our soldiers fought and continue to fight for her right to wave whatever flag she chooses.”
