When it comes to attending concerts, some people take it very seriously. While some concertgoers attend live music events for fun and the lively atmosphere, others are determined to hear every note, especially when they love the bands that they are watching perform. This week, when the Jonas Brothers arrived in Arkansas to play, one woman showed her true colors when she began to yell and rant during a bizarre meltdown.
In a newly posted TikTok, the Arkansas woman was shown having a full-blown Karen moment as she sat in the grass on the lawn at the concert venue. The woman, wearing a pair of jeans and a black and white checkered shirt, was filmed yelling at the people in front of her about standing up.
“We’re trying to enjoy the f—ing show. Sit down,” she can be heard screaming. “We’re on a f—ing incline. We’re on an incline for a reason. SIT DOWN,” she continued. She then began to chant, “sit down, sit down, sit down,” as she clapped her hands aggressively. “Why are you standing when we’re on the lawn? TikTok will agree with me,” she says into the camera of the person filming her meltdown.

However, it appears that TikTok did not agree with her. Many thought she was completely out of line for her rant and use of profanity. Some even pointed out that if the woman wanted to see the band so much that she should have purchased tickets with a better view instead of sitting on the lawn for the show. Others sided with the people surrounding the woman, as they had their experience ruined by her loud shouting.
“Life advice- if standing at concerts gets you heated, your concert days are over,” one person said in the comment section. “The real question is why are you SITTING at a concert????” another asked. “People rudely trying to control strangers in public is a literal epidemic,” another chimed in. “Nah we’re standing, we’re dancing, we’re living,” a fourth social media user stated.
It’s common to see people standing at a concert. It’s a time when those in attendance love to dance, jump around, and interact with their friends or other fans surrounding them. However, this Arkansas Karen obviously didn’t get the memo, and she turned what should have been a fun moment into an awkward and hostile event.
